About Mississippi Metal Manufacturing
Mississippi Metal Manufacturing was established in 2004 to fill a void in the growing metal roofing market. There are several large corporations that can provide quality metal roofing, but their offices and manufacturing facilities are hours or even states away. This resulted in slow turn around times and poor customer service. There are also a few smaller regional companies that can fill orders quickly, but tended to sacrifice quality to be competitive. We felt that we could combine the strengths, and overcome the problems by becoming a local manufacturer.
Our Goals:
- Match or beat the turn around speed of the regional providers.
- Match the quality of the national brands, and be competitively priced.
- Provide timely customer service and local convenience.
- Be a trusted partner to our customers.
Most manufacturers claim these things, but we wanted to actually do them. We have come a long way from where we started, but we are still focused on the same goals. We have great suppliers who share our philosophy and strive to help us remain competitive. We have also learned to keep our finger on the pulse of the industry and try to stay ahead of an ever changing economy.
In 2018, we retooled our existing panel line and installed an additional panel line to increase capacity and reduce downtime. We have also expanded our Roll Formed Trim Lines and added an additional 20' trim break to speed up productivity and increase consistency in our product.

"PLP" Panels
"PLP" (Panel Loc Plus) Panels are typically used for residential applications.
Available in 29ga and 26ga Acrylic Coated Galvalume, all colors in 29ga, and most colors in 26ga (refer to color chart for details).
Most commonly installed over 1" x 4" Wood Lathing, Designed for a Maximum Span of 2'-0".
Recommended Minimum Roof Pitch of 3":12".
Major Ribs are 3/4" Tall and spaced 9" on center.
Designed to be used with "29ga Trims" from Color Chart / Trims.
Coverage Width is 36".
While our parent company (Moore's Feed) keeps most panels in stock lengths of 8', 10', 12', 14', 16', 18', and 20'
We will be happy to cut your order to the length you need.
"PBR" Panels
"PBR" (Purlin Bearing Rib) Panels are typically used for commercial / industrial applications.
Available in 26ga Acrylic Coated Galvalume and most colors (refer to color chart for details).
Most commonly installed over Metal Building Purlins, Designed for a Maximum Roof Span of 5'-0".
Recommended Minimum Roof Pitch of 1":12".
Major Ribs are 1 1/4" Tall and spaced 12" on center.
Designed to be used with "26ga Trims" from Color Chart / Trims.
Coverage Width is 36".

"Zee" Purlins
"Zee"s and "Cee"s are the 2"x4"s of Metal Buildings, and we make them!
We roll them at our plant and can fill your order to meet your needs.

"Eave Struts"
Eave Struts are intended for use along the eaves of a building and are made so that they provide:
- A vertical surface to for Wall Sheeting attachment.
- A sloped top leg that follows the roof pitch of your building, allowing for Roof Panel attachment.
- A sloped or flat bottom leg to rest on top of your framing.
Our Standard Eave Struts are referred to as Double Slope Up (DSU). Though not a stock item, Double Slope Down (DSD) eave struts are available for single slope / high side situations as well as Flat Bottomed Eave Struts. Maximum roof pitch for Double Sloped Eave Struts is 4:12.
We stock a range of lengths and roof pitches that cover most needs but custom lengths and profiles are available also.
